There are connection issues with their terminal and the setup in the back office or within DataCap’s system.
First ensure that the terminal is paired correctly in the back office and set up correctly within DataCap’s system. If all is correct, this error could indicate that the unit does not have an internet connection or just isn't powered on.
Is there a tipping feature / workflow with PIN Debit?
Yes. You can enable or disable tipping on the PIN Debit integration settings page. If disabled, then the tipping option will not appear on the payment terminal screen when the customer is prompted to process their payment.
Can I enable flat $ amount tipping as opposed to % based?

What are the tipping increments?
Increments of five: 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, other.
Can I turn tipping on and off?
To turn on tipping for PIN Debit simply go to your POS back office and navigate to the left rail and click Settings -> Integrations -> PIN Debit. Select the dropdown next to Enabled and select Yes and hit Save. If you want to disable the tipping feature for PIN Debit, go to your POS back office and navigate to the left rail and click Settings -> Integrations -> PIN Debit. Select the dropdown next to Enabled and select No and hit Save.
How will I know who gets the tip at the end of the shift?
At the end of the day, you can pull the closing report in DPOS integrated reports that will show by transaction the name of the budtender that checked out that customer and the tip amount.
Can PIN Debit be used with delivery?
Yes, the Ingenico Move/5000 is travel / delivery friendly and can be used wirelessly with 4G and / or LTE. Note: 4G capabilities require a $35 Wireless Data Plan monthly fee.
How are deposits into the merchant bank account labeled? Is it from Dutchie, Paynetworx or something else?
Paynetworx is the processor that is moving the money, so the merchant descriptor that the merchant sees in their bank account will be from Paynetworx.
How do I issue refunds when using PIN Debit?
To issue a refund: 1. Press the enter key to bring up the main menu. 2. Press 1-Return. 3. Enter the return amount. 4. Present card.
For standalone mode, refunds are processed very similarly to sales. Returns are not linked to a prior transaction in standalone mode.
