Arkansas allows medical cannabis sales to qualified patients.

BioTrack and Inventory ‍

Arkansas uses BioTrack as its state seed-to-sale system. All inventory and sales must be reported to this system. Arkansas also uses the BioTrack platform to track statewide patient allotments, which retailers must use to validate purchase limits for qualifying patients.Β Β 

Purchase Limits‍

Arkansas allows qualifying patients to purchase up to 2 Β½ Oz of cannabis per 14 day period. Arkansas allows the sale of dry flower products for the purpose of vaporizing, however dispensaries may not endorse or provide products that promote the use of combustible cannabis.

‍Taxes

In Arkansas, cannabis sales are subject to all state and local sales taxes.

Additionally, cannabis dispensaries, cultivation facilities, and other marijuana businesses must collect and remit a special privilege tax of 4% on gross receipts derived from each sale of usable cannabis.Β 

Delivery

Cannabis delivery is permitted to qualifying patients in the state of Arkansas. Delivery may only occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Dispensaries delivering to qualifying patients or their caregivers must ensure that all normal dispensing requirements are met prior to completing the delivery.Β
