West Virginia uses Metrc as their state traceability system. In West Virginia, medical sales must be reported in real time, and Metrc provides each patient’s allotment.
Purchase Limits are case by case, determined by the prescribing physician. Each patient’s allotment is recorded and Metrc, and a lookup must be performed before each sale to ensure compliant adherence to the patient’s limit.
