The revised version of the SAFE Banking Act, now known as SAFER Banking, passed a key committee in the US Senate this week. Next stop is the full Senate for a vote. The timing is still a question as well as any amendments that may be introduced.

Last week, Minnesota’s new cannabis regulator was chosen to lead the Office of Cannabis Management. This week, Erin Dupree stepped down from the job as a local report surfaced that a company she was involved in sold “prohibited hemp-derived products”.
In November, voters in Ohio will vote to legalize adult-use cannabis. The folks supporting the measure commissioned a poll and suggest that nearly 60% of Ohio voters support the measure.
