On Saturday, August 13th, Team Dutchie was on-site for the grand opening Cookies in Miami, Florida. It followed a busy week last week as two ballot measures are circulating in that state for the 2024 ballot—one with significant funding from Trulieve.
According to a poll conducted by Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler, 72% of voters in Texas support legalizing medical cannabis. What's more, 67% of Republican respondents reported backing medical cannabis initiatives.
Canadian cannabis retailers in British Columbia and Ontario are dealing with a high level of distress as provincial wholesalers in both locations are dealing with ongoing service disruptions. In Ontario, it’s because of a cyber attack on a vendor and in BC it is because of a strike.
Almost immediately after introducing the Cannabis Administration and Opportunity Act, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer headed to the Bronx for a launch event at The Bronx Cannabis Hub.
We caught up with Desmon Lewis to hear more about The Bronx Cannabis Hub, its mission, and to discuss New York’s approach to cannabis legalization.
In support of the ongoing service interruptions in British Columbia and Ontario, last Friday, we hosted an informative webinar for cannabis retailers: Navigating Service Interruptions in the Ontario and BC Cannabis Markets.
We'll see you back here on Friday!
