Market Type

In Iowa, cannabis sales are only for medical patients. Cannabis sales are regulated by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.Β

Iowa uses a program called 365 cannabis for seed to sale tracking and reporting. In Iowa, inventory actions and sales reporting must be conducted in real time.Β 

Purchase Limits

In Iowa, medical cannabis patients are allowed to purchase up to 4.5g (4500mg) of THC per 90 day period. Patients are able submit a waiver for approval for increased purchase limits.
